Praise the Lord that Beth-el-Neelum Church was able to welcome

An opportunity to respond to the evening's message

visitors, congregation members and helpers from Beth-el-Kunhar Church to the 2 day Christian Convention in Muzaffarabad from 5th-7th November. The Convention was held outside under a shamiana from 5pm-8pm on successive evenings. The Messages given by Dr. Barkat Parvais were very well understood and received by all. Mr.Haroon Nasir and Pastor Joseph Rashid led the meetings. Choirs from Beth-el-neelum and Beth-el-Kunhar Churches sang. An average of 80-90 people attended each evening and 13 people reached new understanding in their faith. Another convention has been booked for next year.

Convention Leaders

Beth-el-Neelum Church meets every Sunday and is well attended.

Helpers from Beth-el-Kunhar Church ran a Sunday School for the first time last Sunday. This will be a regular feature from now on. As you pray for the Church please also remember the Church land that in the process of being donated by the Government.

A Prayer Convention for Women will be held on Sat 27th Nov at Beth-el-Neelum.

Neelum Christian Clinic is being established in Muzaffarabad as a further demonstration of God’s love in action. The clinic is Nurse-led with basic Laboratory and Pharmacy facilities. Increasing numbers of patients are attending on the last Friday of each month, particularly Antenatal women. At present all staff are from KCH and the clinic held once a month.

The staff from KCH will test a 1 day per month opened clinic in Muzaffarabad. The first day of this testing time will be the 24th of September. The following dates will be every months last Friday.

There are two boys from Muzaffarabad for volunteer work at KCH this week. They want to get training/ work experieence in maintenence and the office.

In the week of the 12th to 18th of July a vacational Bible school for children is held in Muzaffarabad. The topic is the story of Ruth from Bible and prayer for Bangladesh. Bangladesh High commission sent a flag of the country and requested prayers against poverty. Little children are going to pray and raise tiny amount for Bangladesh! On Sunday children from Muzaffarabad and KCH presented the story of Ruth as drama which was enjoyed by everyone. 2 more MDiv students from ZBI were present too.

This month we sent the application for registration the Beth-El-Neelum Church in Muzaffarabad to the government of AJK.
